<p>It doesn’t look like the REA book has a vocab section. I remember someone on CC saying they used this book to study vocab:</p>

<p>My D took the Latin SAT II in December. She studied vocab out of the book in post 161. She also did some practice tests from the REA book and used that to be familiar with the format. Without many options out there, this was a good strategy. She did a lot of Caesar in Latin 3 and is in AP Latin Lit now. She originally was signed up for last June but was NOT prepared for the vocab so did not go to the test. Her practice from that point was somewhere in the 500’s and she got a 720 on the Dec exam.</p>

<p>SAT World History: Get Barrons… It almost guarentees you for a 800. </p>

<p>Is Barron’s the best book for SAT Math IIC?.. I heard it has ALOT of errors. :&lt;/p>

Barron’s covers pretty much everything, but it is somewhat unorganized.</p>

<p>Princeton Review is good, but some topics are simplified–accurate practice tests.</p>

<p>Kaplan is really in-depth and the practice tests are much harder than the actual exam.</p>

<p>Chemistry:
Barron’s is the best choice for this. It covers everything and is quite in-depth.</p>

<p>Princeton Review is a quick read and is recommended only for last-minute brush-ups.</p>

<p>Kaplan is written in a college-like language that is somewhat difficult to comprehend.</p>

<p>Math 1
Princeton Review should suffice.</p>

<p>Math 2
Barron’s covers everything and teaches you how to go through problems using actual math. Their section on calculator usage is awesome–learned how to program from it.</p>

<p>Princeton Review is decent, but it doesn’t teach you math the way Barron’s does. Their answer explanations frequently include POE and plug-in, which isn’t math.</p>

<p>World History
Barron’s is a quite detailed. If you want to be really prepared, use Barron’s AP World History.</p>

<p>Princeton Review is not recommended. The review is inadequate as it is USH and World History in one book. Princeton Review’s AP World History is good and should suffice for the SAT World History Subject Test though.</p>

<p>I tried 5 Steps to a 5 but it would still be BEST if you had a teacher as physics can be learned in a much more efficient manner that way.</p>

Also used REA for the AP exam and then used Kaplans like the week before the SAT to review. IT was really helpful. I only did 1 practice test and even though it was harder than the real test, the questions were pretty similar. reallyyyy good review.</p>

<p>MathII -Definitely Barrons. </p>

<p>Any more advice on Lit? Is PR the most accurate? Barrons seems way harder than PR. I need to get my hands on a Kaplan one.</p>
