D just crossed a school off for asking “What are your life goals?” on the visitor intake form. (Can’t say I blame her.)
I am amazed that S1 doesn’t ask to see the bathrooms as soon as he arrives on campus, considering the amount of time he spends in ours. Having a room with it’s own WC would be huge for him, but I would pity his room mate.
Just a note - D’s school does all announcements about speakers (multiples in a week, from those speaking to hundreds to those doing a lunch presentation for a dozen), special department or language lunches, movies, sometimes internships or on-campus jobs - EVERYTHING - in a daily email.
Almost none of these are on posters or flyers in the student center or dining hall.
I suspect this is becoming more common.
