Thanks. I just feel kind of numb right now, almost nauseous. The stuff that went down last week then now this.
I’ve worked for this woman for 7 years. It’s been a huge eye opener.

I would sue her and him if I got sick. What selfish people. I’m so sorry. I really hope you don’t get it. Not everyone exposed gets it and also you took precautions which should help you avoid it, too. What a jerk those two are. Unbelievable.
Honestly, not that i suggest doing anything about this fact, but the whole business could be ruined if people in public learned of what she and he did and how they treated their workers.
I’m very sorry to hear this news, @swimcatsmom . Do all your coworkers know about the positive test result? I suggest contacting your local public health department, if that hasn’t been done yet. Your boss doesn’t sound like she’d volunteer the information about the possible workplace exposure, but I think someone should share that information.
I hope that when we are past this crisis and when the economy is on a solid footing again you will take your talents elsewhere and work for someone who is a decent human being. Sorry you have been put through this stress.
The boss should be reported to the Dept of health!
I’m aghast and outraged for you, swimcatsmom. Such a horrendous breach of trust against you and your co-workers. I’m sorry you found out your boss was a horrible human in this way. Agree that you should find another position as soon as feasible.
Your colleague may have contracted coronavirus, remained asymptomatic, but was shedding virus and transmitting it to others. Was she tested?
@swimcatsmom I don’t blame you! I’d be livid too. But here’s one thing that might calm you down. Most likely, that was not your first or only potential exposure. If you were still going to the office every day and going to supermarkets, odds are that you were exposed elsewhere. NOT that that excuses your boss’s behavior. At all. BUT the only way to protect your husband is for you to stay home. If you are out and about, your husband will be exposed. He’s is exposed to every person you are in contact with (and all of THEIR contacts, and their contacts ad infinitum).
