So I’m guessing nobody got the email
My S also got the email
Thank you for responding @beetlejay
Has anyone who was accepted on March 3rd or 2nd received any merit award or scholarship Information?
Not sure what the myLMU email is?
Hi guys! I’m new to CC. I applied to LMU as a transfer student, it is 4/4 already and I still haven’t heard back from the school. Is that a bad sign?
@miacgl not necessarily. For transfer’s they will continue to review applications until May 1st. Just keep those fingers crossed, and hope for good news on the horizon. I know that’s what I’m doing.
@Sfjedybekegen I received my merit scholarship information last week and I was accepted on March 2nd. Also yes I did receive the myLMU email yesterday.
Does that mean that I didn’t receive any scholarship/merit awards ? Is anybody else yet to hear about their merit awards?
@Sfjedybekegen did you receive your financial aid package already? It should have stated in there whether you received any merit awards or scholarships.
@connrjjj, I haven’t received my financial aid package. Did you get a email about your financial aid as well?
@Sfjedybekegen i received mine in the mail and it was updated in my application portal
He sounds like my daughter. LMU was her top choice. Unfortunately she was rejected from on March 24th. She’s now trying to decide between Ithaca’s Park School, University of Denver, and American University (Spring semester). She loves Denver, but is nervous that it’ll be a party school and that she won’t find a fit. She hasn’t visited Ithaca, and hasn’t considered it strongly because the cold makes her nervous. She’s on the waiting list at Emerson (not sure it’s any less cold than Ithaca), and she hasn’t visited. No clue which way she’ll go. Any input is welcome, but it’s confusing to say the least.
Can someone explain lmu’s PROWL to me?
@Roodog1997 my son was rejected from LMU (also top choice), accepted for Park in the fall, Pepperdine for the spring and waitlisted at Emerson as well. We visited Park last spring and are going to Ithaca admitted students day this coming weekend. He loved Park, but we live in New England and his dream was to go to California, however after visiting Pepperdine this past weekend he is 99% set on going to Park. He just needs to confirm after attending their admitted students day this weekend. My in-laws are from that part of NY and I lived /went to school near Emerson - both are cold, but Ithaca will usually get more snow (lake effect). Also very different campuses and feel. You should really try to visit the schools if at all possible.
anyone know when waitlist came out last year?
my college counselor visited LMU and the regional counselor she met with there told her they honestly rarely pull from the wait list so its better to just move on and not get your hopes up
