I was waitlisted as well. Does anyone know if students who were accepted off the waitlist would still be eligible for merit?

Generally they will tell you there is very little chance to get a merit scholarship off of waitlist. Basically they tell you will be paying FULL price. This happened to my daughter when she was waitlisted at Santa Clara.

My son got waitlisted for Film Production. Sad… How is LMU’s waitlist policy?
My daughter was deferred and is now waitlisted. Honestly, by most metrics she should have been rejected outright both times, so she isn’t even upset (her SAT puts her in the 1% or less accepted category). She’s glad there is still a possibility- though of course she’ll commit somewhere else until she hears. I know that waitlisted people do not get merit aid, but does anyone know about need based aid and yellow ribbon (GI Bill) aid?
Waitlisted for Business. I have a 3.89 GPA and a 1290 SAT. Seriously disappointed because it was a dream of mine to go to college in California. 
Accepted to the college of science and engineering for electrical engineering. Received the ‘wait is over’ email and the ‘status updated’ email.
LMU doesn’t offer much in terms of scholarships. IT mostly depends on stats. I believe the financial aid calculator is pretty accurate for those wondering.
