So I’m from early action, but this discussion is more active haha…
Basically, I wrote a letter of merit appeal and was granted another 5,000 a year in scholarship money! Still not enough to go but I’m also waiting for my need based appeal.
Just thought I’d share my small victory. I’m definitely feeling more hopeful about being able to attend my dream school next year and they responded much quicker than I expected!

@sunshuttle I wrote to admissions and talked about my most recent grades (my 4.0 GPA for the first two quarters of senior year, with an unofficial transcript attached) and how I would be earning an Associate’s Degree along with my diploma through dual enrollment. I also mentioned my financial need and how I unfortunately wouldn’t be able to attend with my current aid.
Kept it pretty short and to the point while being very gracious. Must’ve done something right I guess!
