LMU- Regular Decision class of 2024

I don’t think they do. I sent them my transcripts and, while they never appeared on my portal, when I contacted the admissions office, they confirmed they had received them.

Does anyone have any idea as to if being deferred is a good thing? Does it lower your chances of getting in?

@carolinekells If I recall correctly, students who were deferred had a slightly higher acceptance rate when compared to those who applied RD. This was for all “non-competitive majors” meaning the ones that are not strictly capped while these ones had about the same figures across the two sets.

My transcript for fall is on my portal with a timestamp of 4:00 AM @suzettina @Student0303

My daughter’s mid-year report/transcript is marked as received in her portal, dated for back when it was sent post-deferral.

Sorry to interrupt but would there be a chance that they will post decisions this tuesday?

I was hoping tomorrow! They are weeks past last year! We can hope!!

I opened up my emails this morning and saw a message from LMU and was getting so excited! Then I saw that it was about an intern. :frowning:

That’s a bit sadistic, if you ask me! They know the applicants are all on waiting !

got ‘wait is over’ email from lmu…might be today

@DiHydrogen2121 - what did your email say? I got an email about an intern, but nothing about “wait is over”

Just got intern email yesterday… so annoying! Wish school would refrain from sending anymore emails until decisions are out! Frustrating!

I have the “Intern” email too.

I also got “wait is almost over” email. It says:

We understand that applying to college may feel overwhelming. From writing personal statements to managing so many different deadlines, you have had quite a lot on your plate this year—we recognize the pressure does not necessarily subside after clicking that submit button.

We hope our application video series have been entertaining you along your journey toward LMU. We invite you to watch the latest video in that series as we suspect you may be relating to Terrance’s current situation now more than ever…

Possibly tonight at 5?

Well, darn. D didn’t get that, though she got all the past ones. Guess that’s not good news. Boo.

I wouldn’t jump to conclusions, I’m sure it’s not a prelude to any bad news.

Didn’t recieve the “wait is over” email either. Was it only sent out to regular decision applicants? because I was deffered

Did anyone else get the wait is over email?

I didn’t get that email either and I’m RD.
