Actually, the reason he was in scrubs is a funny one. We were having dinner with my husband at the hospital during his residency will he was on call one night. My son had an accident as we were less than a week into potty training. As a first time mother, I didn’t know you should have spare clothes with you during potty training
the only think available to put on his was a pair of scrubs from the call room. The nurses thought he was so cute and added a cap and shoe covers. I have no idea who took the picture, but we have multiple copies! Once he entered medical school my daughter said this picture had to go on his graduation cake, which we did.

You could serve the hot dogs with mashed potatoes and call them bangers and mash.

I composed my invitation on Paperless Post tonight and think it looks great. They had a card with the London skyline, the envelope liner is the Union Jack and the postmark is London.

If no one has used the e invitations on Paperless Post, you need to try them out. We did an engagement party invitation last year and I still have coins left, so my daughter’s will be free. Even if I had to pay to send them, the way I designed the invitation, it would be less than $10. You can pick your card, envelope, envelope liner, stamp and postmark. You pay with coins, but are given 25 when you register. For my nephew’s engagement party I think we spent under $20 for over 40 invitation. When you open the email and click on the invitation you see an envelope addressed to you, then it turns over, opens up, and the invitation comes out as if you were pulling it out yourself.

End of shameless plug for Paperless Post!!

Since I did the Union Jack for the envelope liner, I might not use it much for the decorations. I think I may just order the cardboard cutout and try to find the toy double decker buses. I forgot I still have her Paddington Bear, so he can go on one table. I have a couple of family members that hate anything large in the middle of the table. For years at Thanksgiving I had flowers in the center of each table, and they would move them saying it was too hard to talk to the people across the table. I finally gave up on the flower!
