Longboards.....

<p>dpattz, i think you responded to my thread in the Stanford facebook group haha.</p>

<p>And not to sound mean to any future, fellow long boarders, but PLEASE try to purchase and USE your board, before you come to Stanford. practice beforehand!

  1. there’s nothing more embarrassing than stumbling over your boar, pushing mongo, or in worst case, falling and dropping all your stuff.
  2. it gives those of us who truly love the sport and do it because it is an efficient and fun way of transportation, a bad name. I can’t even recall how much crap i’ve gotten for saying i’m going to long board at college, because I was associated with the kids who do it just because it is “cool”</p>

<p>Again, not to start strife or call anyone out, but i just am giving some useful, practical advice. Good luck on your long board adventure!</p>
