The data is kinda hard to parse in the list format it’s in but it seems like there is at least a modest correlation between test scores and admissions results. For example according to my rough count 100 applicants were either accepted or deferred and gave SAT scores out of 2400 or ACT scores [I’m not sure why the rejected applicants aren’t listed]. Of the applicants with an SAT score of 2200 or better or an ACT score of 33 or better 56/78 were accepted. Of applicants with neither a 2200+ on the SAT nor a 33+ on the ACT 7/22 were accepted. While these numbers clearly suffer from self-selection bias as the actual acceptance rate was 18% not 63%, even among the self-reported date there is a clear correlation between test scores and admissions results. While high test scores are no guarantee of acceptance and much of the correlation probably comes from the correlation between test scores and strong applications overall to say that test scores have lack any predictive power for admissions results seems misleading.
