Low ACT score- High GPA- Alternative School

Yes, thank you to all- right now I think we will focus on the April ACT and see what happens with that.

Lots of colleges have equestiran teams. In the South, many of them are varsity, the rest are club teams.

Look into IHSA (http://www.ihsainc.com) for details of which schools have teams. D1 is very involved w her team and they are her circle of friends. As another mom mentioned at a show last fall, they really are a sorority, but won’t admit it. Great group of girls and and a few random guys.

Here’s the info on the zone setup. You compete every weekend in the fall and spring, at least it seems like it, against all the teams in your zone. Then riders w enough points advance to regions and the top riders to Nationals. D1 has volunteered at nationals the past 2 years - even found an internship through it last year.

I’m not sure where you are located, but in addition to Centannery, Univ of Findlay has amazing facilities on campus. D1 was there last year for Western semi finals or nationals.

PM if you want the inside scoop on which teams are good and/or large and I will ask D1.
