low gpa, chances?

I believe poster “collegehelp” made a list of best schools by state.

If you want to do nursing/premed and stay in Illinois, check out Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington-Normal.
[Welcome to Illinois Wesleyan University](http://www2.iwu.edu/home.shtml)

IWU’s ACT midrange is 26-30, so it’s probably a low match.

Other schools I would look into that are in Chicago?

DePaul U: [Welcome to DePaul University](http://depaul.edu/)
It doesn’t look like they have a GPPA-esque program, but it would make a good safety. (ACT midrange 22-27). Also, GREAT campus, and in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Chicago. Sweet deal.

Loyola University Chicago: [Loyola University Chicago- Schools & Centers](Colleges and Schools: Academics: Loyola University Chicago)
LUC has a nursing school, and an ACT midrange of 23-28.

Illinois has lots and lots of state schools, too, and I know almost nothing about them.
