<p>“Do your best, make the essays sing and love the place.”</p>
<p>Yeah, well I did my best, my essays sung…to me at least, and i’m already past in love with the school and have moved on to ‘infatuated’. </p>
<p>But I know for a fact that my scores fall way below the usual standard of accepted applicants, and however nice it may be to imagine that ‘scores really don’t count!’ and ‘people overstate stats!’ (usually proclaimed by people who’ved scored in pretty comfortable areas) I’d like to know if precedent shows whether I have half a shot in hell or none at all.</p>
