LTS: rest in peace

I am so sorry to hear this horrible news. I don’t have words.

Such sad news this morning…I am in awe when I think how sick she must have been in the last days…yet still thinking of us and posting updates! So smart, feisty and upbeat. Positive to the last, and yes, her mind was still clear.

We are such fragile beings…so quickly gone from this world to the next.

May her memory be for a blessing.

Marite, would it be possible to post a link to her obituary at some point? I would love to know more about our courageous friend.

Oh my. Such sad news. LTS’s fighting spirit was an inspiration to us all. May we all learn to live our lives to the fullest and keep our priorities straight. My condolences to LTS’s daughter, friends and coworkers, and to all of us who have become her extended family.

Thank you for posting, Marite, and being the go-between for all of us.

LTS died with a clear mind, inner faith, her own strength, and so much love for her daughter, job, and the world around her. She could have let herself be beaten down many times in her life, it sounds like, but she never did. May she continue to be an inspiration to those who knew her.

So sad to learn of LTS’ passing. I remember when she posted about the possibility of law school without an undergrad degree, and I wondered if she was considering it. If anyone could have done it, it would have been LTS, a wonderful inspiration to many.

Oh, dear. I am shaken by this news. Marite, thank you so much for being the “link” between this very special family and the CC community. I hope her D knows how very much LTS has impacted many, many people here.

May her memory be for a blessing.

Such very sad news. Thanks, Marite, for keeping us informed.

I’m in shock. I hadn’t kept up with the LTS thread, and had no idea what was developing.

In emulation of LTS and the notion that it’s never too late, I’m adding my prayers for LTS and ongoing for her D. Let’s keep it going.

Look at the number of lives she touched. Not a bad legacy.

Her life was a total inspiration. She will continue inspire. My hope is that her posts and her life are somehow immortalized…a book, a movie.

My prayers go out to her daughter. LTS, may you have eternal peace.

A shining star has been extinguished.

Rest in peace knowing your life touched many and you will never be forgotten

So,so sad. Thank you, LTS, for inspiring so many during your battle.

I can’t resist the image of LTS leaping over the pearly gates in her red high heels.

I know that what she wanted to do with the rest of her life was to work for some form of universal health care. That’s what I’m going to do in her memory, though I’m sure I won’t be as effective as she would have been. What a force of nature! We are lucky to have known her, if only in cyberspace.

Rest in Peace.

I will hold you in the light, LTS.

You fought with honor, and we all learned something in the process.

Strength and peace to LTS’s daughter.

Words fail me. A noble soul indeed. Peace, LTS.

Dear, dear LTS. I wonder if you had any idea how many lives you’ve touched? Your exemplary courage will forever be an inspiration to me. May you rest in eternal peace.

Peace to you, LTS, and endless thanks for the matchless courage, strength, and humor you shared with all of us.

And yes, as allmusic and others have said, strength and peace to your daughter.

A remarkable, remarkable woman. Rest in peace.
