I am a rising Senior and I am currently facing these same exact questions, down to the degrees. I could persue a masters in ME with only one extra year of courses, or I could look into a masters in Nuclear as I have spent a lot of time working at Nuclear Power Plants during my summers as an intern.
The other thing is I have completed the courses required for a minor in economics, which is greatly influencing my career path.
I was wondering what path you eneded up taking, and if you feel like it was the right choice and why. It has been such a challenge for me to make my decision, as I am getting job offers before I go back to school, and I am not entirely sure how to respond. I am about 75% confident in saying I plan on going back to school right away, but I dont know if that would hurt or help me.
Any input you can offer would greatly be appreciated.
