Same for my husband and me–we love Mac and would choose it for ourselves. But D24 has a lot of good sense, and if she ends up deciding it isn’t for her, I will trust her.

My S24 ended up not even applying–broke my heart!
Honestly he is applying to too many anyway, but it is just such a cool location in a cool city. I really had a vision of what parental visits could be like . . . oh well.

My S24 was accepted EA with a DeWitt Wallace Scholarship ($25K/year). We were all surprised and excited and it definitely put Macalester high up on his list.

I was wondering if you could remember the name of the scholarship your daughter was offered? I too am trying to figure out what the high end of merit scholarships is at Macalester.
