So this year was very unusual in that you didn’t get to finish the semester. You just got started second semester and everyone was sent home. Keep that in mind and don’t be so hard on yourself. Look at next year as a fresh start. Try not to look back.
Focus on getting your online work done, a summer job, and living in the moment. As you return to campus next fall think about what you can do differently to meet people and find your niche. Can you interview to be a leader for freshman orientation (maybe that didn’t even get set up yet for next year)? That is a great way to be part of a group and meet a lot of new people looking to meet others. View your school with a fresh eye and stay positive.
This year you had about 5+ months of a freshman year. That’s not a lot of time to have things how you would like. I bet you aren’t the only person who feels that way. You’re ok - you like your classes and got your feet wet as a college student. Return in the fall with a new attitude and a fresh approach.
