<p>My DS was admitted to GT last year and he went as BME. This sem he has switched to EE after talking to seniors and counselors of EE/CompE/BME/Undecided dept. I think its the perception of BME degree as undergrad student. Also, you can do minor in BME OR you can take a biotech/biomed stream in EE. There are several options available. You can also do a masters in BME after doing undergrad in EE. Anyway, he has made up his mind as of now.</p>
