<p>I’m an economics major at Rice and I know that top, top companies come to recruit at Rice every single year. This is especially beneficial to Rice as many Fortune 500 companies are based in Houston. </p>
<p>Economics is one of the principal disciplines that runs the corporate and political spheres of the world, so surely it would be narrow minded to think that majoring in economics= unemployed.</p>
