<p>While you can major in poli sci or econ as a Mudder, if you PLAN to do that, Mudd is probably not the best place for you. You could easily go to one of the other Claremont schools and take several classes at Mudd, if you’re that interested in science. Most of the people here that do off campus majors decide later that, while they enjoy science, they don’t really want to major in it, so they go for something off-campus. These people do not generally come in with the plan to major in something else, though. If you have no idea what you want to major in, but you like math and science a lot, Mudd is probably a good fit anyway.</p>
