<p>Absolutely…I’ve have several ‘questionable’ results and I get very nervous. Even more so because my MIL’s BC wasn’t picked up on a mammo - she felt it. My breasts are so dense it was have to be the size of a walnut before I felt it (my Ob/GYN told me this). :(</p>
<p>OTOH, my mom’s estrogen receptive BC was picked up on a routine mammo and it was very tiny - stage 1. So mammograms do work but not always.</p>
<p>Ultrasounds do not emit radiation - neither do MRIs.</p>
<p>One other thing: with a 3D mammogram, the radiologist gets both 2D and 3D images. </p>
<p>I get nervous too.</p>
