Fencermom,

The video is on quite often, usually during a sports program (which is why I see it often). I believe it first aired during this year’s Superbowl.

Basically, it just shows the silent gaurd standing in line at different sites throughout the country (Mt Rushmore, the Rockies, a Mid-west farm, etc.), performing their routine of twirling and catchin gtheir rifles. Very load rythmic clicking sound thoughout the commercial, which is the sound made by their rifles slappingtheir hands when then stop them. Just a voice over talkin about the few and the proud, then a fade to black with the slapping sound fading out. Pretty darn inspiring.

I’m just glad the AF finally made a commercial that comes close. Bt like I said, it’s pretty darn hard to compete against the reputation for duty and honorable service of the United States Marine Corps! To my Marine brothers (and sisters): Semper Fi!
