<p>Raimius, We were given the word by the Wing King here that memorizing the Airman’s Creed was MANDATORY, and he would be calling people out at meetings to stand up and recite it! He announced this at a CC Call where he also told us we could not afford to continue to do more with less, and to start keeping track of where we waste time on pointless things that haven’t anything to do with mission accomplishment (part of the AF’s AFSO 21 push).<br>
I guess I still want to retire without ever getting an Article 15, because I fought back the desire to raise my hand and point out the irony of these two directions to him in front of the Wing. I did, however, remember four lines so far (“I Am an American Airman” is repeated four times in the creed 
). Besides, I DO like it, it reminds us of what we stand for.</p>
