March 10th SAT Discussion

Siyi the universality one was asking what effect did the radio have and compliant to was a writing error which should have been compliant with (idiom)

“topasz… what do you usually get in CR?”

umm… i usually do pretty well… i’m still hoping i have scored a 2400 this time. with practice tests i typically get 2 wrong on CR but looks like today was a good day for me :D

This is my first official taking of the SAT, but from doing practice tests i can ssay this one was definitely on level with the Collegeboard blue book EXCEPT for the vocab, which i thought was a bit difficult. the passages were quite easy in my opinion, easier than blue book. definitely all eaiser than barron’s except maybe vocab. math was easier … maybe equal with blue book. i think on the whole this was not a harder test for collegeboard.

wow great job topasz!! props to you!!!

I usually get perfect in math… recently i’ve been getting 700 - 740 in W and 650 - 680 in CR

Slipkn0t
thanks~ I remember the “universality” one, I totally don’t remember the “compliant with” one…probably got it wrong then =(

thanks  10charsblahblah

thanks~ I remember the “universality” one, I totally don’t remember the “compliant with” one though…probably got it wrong then =(

was there an experimental writing? i dont’ remember this question either

siyi517 well for writing… i usually zoom by them… spot the error and move on… i don’t usually memorise the context… so siyi, maybe you do the same! don’t feel so bad

Did anyone else have the same test format as me:

no passages about the whales nor the crazy archeologist…
and I’m PRETTY sure I had 3-25mins CR sections… not positive though.

I’m trying to guess what my experimental section was…

august’s_chopin
=/…btw, this is kinda random…but does your username have anything to do with jay chou’s album “november’s chopin”?

YESSS hahahah

g2g swim check back in 3 hrs byee!

bye!

I can’t remember which experimental section i had either…arggh…I think I had 4 critical reading ones…I had one with the archaelogist, was that the experimental section?

^^ that was definitely the exp. I had only 3 CR and none with archaelogist

oh i just remmebered!

was the disney section experimental?

and if not, what was the answer to the only question that had the format with like (I , II, III, which one of these r right or are none of them right)

it was about what the critics of walt disney would find most ironic … dirty, imposter, or somethin like that

cocunut blue:
i think u had a writing experimental

that was your experimental bc i didnt have that

Aww I’d like to read about Disney rather than the founding fathers one!!

Yes, that was experimental

wait chickenboi8008, i think i had the same test as coconut blue, and im trying to figure out my experimental as well…why do you think its writing?

glock, I had no disney section. so yes, it was your experimental

ya, can you tell us which writing was experimental? As in questions or answers for them

Grr this is bugging me!
