is there anyone who doesn’t get the e-mail yet? i checked my mail box for the 10th time already…

Son has been trying for more than one hour. Can’t get past the login screen to see the decision. Good luck all!!

hi, rejected…!

Rejected. I’m not surprised, but it hurts nonetheless. I kind of have to deal with it on my own; I don’t really have anyone to talk to about it.

Congrats to those who were admitted.

So I ask myself now: Columbia or Brown or Chicago?

Waitlisted here

Waitlisted. Took me forever to finally log on.

silverturtle -

go to brown imo. everyone likes brown. chicago is a great school but some people are pretty miserable there. i don’t know very much about columbia

Rejected. Ah, Brown is a dumb place anyway with an uncreative name. I got into UPENN (!!!) Columbia (!!!) , Cornell and JHU (!!!)

so I don’t really care. :)

Come to Chicago with me.

New account, are you talking to me?

ds got rejected

nil desperandum
awesome…UPENN.

I was talking to silverturtle.

But you can come too.

I wanna come :frowning: should have applied! But Uchicago is beautiful.

Hi all! I know this post hasn’t been used in a few years but I really found it useful and would appreciate any feedback. I am applying this fall early decision to Brown. It is the only Ivy I am applying for (also applying to Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, USC, UCLA, Tulane, U of I, Loyola, Marquette) but I am nervous about my chances. I’m going to be completely honest about my app so I’d like a truthful answer as to whether or not I’ll be waitlisted/denied. Don’t mind my feelings! Here goes: Act: 27 with a 10 on writing (did not take SAT). GPA: 3.3. Am not in top 25% of my class but I have taken 9 AP courses throughout high school and did well on the exams. I do think my essays/interview will be the highlight of my application because of my ability to write well/the stories I have to convey. I have medical conditions that OBVIOUSLY affected my GPA, and I believe that Brown will see past the numbers and see me as a person. I am also a girl from a public high school in Chicago if that helps. Again any feedback please. Also update me on how your years at Brown have been! I’d love to know anything about it! Best of luck on midterms!

Also I’d like to say I have been on 3 different varsity sports, been the president of over a dozen clubs, tons of service hours, I have a job outside of school, and 3 other siblings! I applied as Biology (1st) and Archeology (2nd). THANKS AGAIN for the help!
