Really? I did not know that. Have you heard of any other schools that have stated so?
OP, unfortunately CS is a reach almost everywhere, and Math scores may be a limiting factor.
It might be worth looking at some LACs where you do not have to declare a major going in and can choose whichever one you want once there.
Perdue and UMD (and Rutgers really) have some of the highest ranked CS programs in the country.
Also, keep in mind that OOS acceptance at state schools can be extra competitive.
