I wanted Pomona because I heard the Econ program was really good, while Williams is attractive since it has the Tutorials program and has Oxford connections (coincidentally my dream school before Brexit screwed things up).
It’s a bit embarrassing but the main reason is I don’t yet feel confident enough in my application to submit by the Amherst ED date (Nov 1). There’s also the issue of ‘fit’: for some reason I didn’t click with Amherst, plus the fact that my cousin (alumni) reported really heavy work schedules that led her to almost drop out, so that’s a bit of a scary first impression I suppose ^^ And as far as Bowdoin goes, I’m also checking them out but the virtual tour I had last year didn’t leave much of a deep impression…
Thank you so much for the suggestions!
