Let me be honest…you are a very good candidate but you are falling for the trap that most international students fall for, which is your list is waaaay too top heavy. I do not know which part of Asia you are applying from but if it is South or East Asia then you are seriously underestimating the competition.
If your goal is to study in the US then you need to find schools that you can attend with what I assume is $20,000 per year? Or, is it $20K total for 4 years? There are many good state schools that offer scholarships to students and might be actually affordable. The truth is most international students do not even look at these schools. Or, they focus on UNC, UVA, UCLA, UMich type schools where you basically need ivy level stats.
Here is an example: Western Carolina University. Your COA will be ~$20K and you will be a top student there.
How many internationals do you think look at schools like these? Not many!
Is it a top school…no. Is it a solid and respectable school – absolutely.
You can definitely go to a top PhD program from there. Perhaps to UNC, Duke or any other top program.
There are many schools like WCU in the US, find them.
Good luck.
