Schools
I only found that University of Southern Maine (USM) accepts the Egyptian system (Grade 12 only) and offers full financial aid. I’m not sure where else to apply.
I’d like to know what other options exist that could offer full financial aid where I’d also have a high probability of admission.
Well you’re likely not going to study in the U.S. (sorry) but apply to those that meet need for international. Most will say no simply because you needed too much. These 10 won’t - they don’t care how much you need in regards to admission so start with them. But how will you afford to get here ??
Amherst College, Bowdoin, Brown University, Dartmouth College, Georgetown, Harvard University, MIT, Princeton University, Wash & Lee and Yale University.
Unfortunately I don’t see this student gaining admission to the colleges noted by @tsbna44 above.
Note that even with an extremely hard to secure full scholarship, the student’s family often must pay for things like transportation, health insurance, books, spending money, etc. which can be thousands of dollars. In addition, international students must expect to retuen to their home country after graduation.
The OP should also look for affordable options in their country.
These are schools that promise to meet need of they determine you have it. These are the schools that won’t look at how much you need to decide whether to admit you or not.
Franklin & Marshall, as another, will meet your full need. But if they think you need too much and they likely will, they will reject you.
Do you have a full ride somewhere ? USM = Sourhern Miss?
A good school is one that will educate you and that you can afford.
Check Troy as well.not sure if international eligible.
Apply to the ten need blind and southern miss. At least you have a home. You can add Denison and F&M too - need aware but the meet need. There will be others similar.
You said University of Southern Maine. Then you mentioned Mississippi. NEITHER of the colleges guarantee to meet the entire full need for international students. At the very least, you will need to add spending money (for things like books), transportation, and health insurance. These costs will add sever thousand dollars at least to your college costs.
Not true. You will have personal expenses in addition to tuition at EVERY college.
Also, once you are done with undergrad in the United States, your student visa will expire and you will be expected to return to your home country.
I agree you should look for affordable options in your home country.
OP - full tuition and housing still leaves food and unless it’s auto merit, it doesn’t mean you’ll get it too. But try of course. But don’t assume it’s a done deal. I could not find it on their website.
Troy has the Scholars Plus. Il not sure if it’s automatic or competitive or if internationals qualify. If they do, you’ll still need travel, health insurance and more.
