math 115 v 114, and 104 v them

Yes you can take math 116, if you are at all thinking about majoring in math I would highly recommend it. I personally wish I had taken because I’ve heard it was a great class (math will be my second major). Honors math/science classes (I’ve taken some) go much more in depth than the regular course and are significantly more theoretical, which personally I love. For this reason, the work is more challenging and the people who take them are often incredibly smart and passionate about the subject. But if you put in the time, they are manageable and very rewarding. Easiest to Hardest would be chemistry<math<physics.
Math 116 in particular is proof based, which math 114 is not, it’s pretty much intro to real analysis, they start with the basic axioms and then go on to stuff like linear algebra, calculus/analysis.
