Math for English Major?

Cornell requires all students to take at least one math and quantitative reasoning (MQR) course. The math department lists some Calc alternatives here: [Mathematics for the Arts & Sciences Student | www.math.cornell.edu](http://www.math.cornell.edu/m/Courses/FSM/arts)

UVA requires at lest one math course but I’m having trouble finding the “BS” math classes. I’m sure they exist, and if you get in and enroll your advisor would be able to recommend an appropriately easy non Calc math course.

Wesleyan’s gen ed web page is somewhat unclear on whether it requires math, but if it does, I’d imagine it also offers a math for humanities majors as do most colleges.
