She-and you- should look at this list of test-optional schools. They look at the whole person and either deemphasize or don’t require scores. (For merit aid many do want scores). This list includes many tippy top schools and many other great ones too. You are NOT penalized by these schools for not submitting scores if they are test-optional, I promise.

With a high GPA and doing so many AP classes, do you know why her ACT is lowish? Has she taken it only once? Or does she have test anxiety?
