Which one?

The one that was like x + x + 10 + x + 20 … = 360?

That only sounds familiar. More details about it? :x

I just realized I got that question wrong.

I saw the complete $5 bill and a quarter of one next to it, and used $5.25

sunfire

multiply 7/10 by 360. subtract that from 360 and you get the measure of the largest angle in the triangle. the other two angles are equal because the two sides are equal (both radii) so you can find x by subtracting from 180, etc

was the answer to that median salary: 50??

Ouchh. I love how they throw in the one that was less than half. I saw that and was like, ‘IF THEY USE THAT, I’M GOING TO SCREAM.’ - And they didn’t. Thank God.

The test was horrid. I was 4 stories off the ground and I was right next to me. So tempting.

Yes. :)

Monoclide - It was like out of 100, every 3rd = red, 5th = cream and which one is white and also cream.

So is the median salary one 50??

yes it was, for sum reason i remember 7 was for a grid answer o.0

So far I got all of them right, comparing majority answers. I omitted one question:
a is 3x increased
b is 7 more
a) a = b - 14
b) a = b
c) a = b + 14
d) a = b + 7
e) cannot be determined

Seems easy… I originally put answer (b) a = b, but then decided to leave it blank because it seemed like a trick question… experimental question? Anybody know the answer?

What would be my score if I got all of them right and omitted one?

Nevermind. That must have been in the experimental section. :x I didn’t get it.

High 7s.

And, you should have never erased your answer. You had it right.

Throw in a variable when you don’t know. Say x = 1.

1st Condition: 3(1) + 7 = 10
2nd Condition: 7 + 3(1) = 10

x = y.

:)

@ Maggiew

Should be B) a = b

If it isn’t explain…

I got that one to Maggie. I put a=b

Was the answer to the 4pi half of a circle 8 radical 2, I forgot the details. It asked about area…

For the X and P, it could be any decimal too right? I said X = 2.5 P and when I solved for it I got 45.454545 and I put 45, but at the last second I added a .4. Is that still correct or did it say integer? I should have just left 45 damn it.

i thought it was e… the way it was worded …
a is 3x increased by 7=3x+7
b is 7 more than 3x= b+7=3x??

now that i think about it’s completely wrong sighs…

If it never said integer, it could be any number between (and including) 41 and 49.

If it’s integer - 43, 46, and 49. (x=17, 18 and 19, respectively.)

It says b is 7 more than 3x indicating the = sign comes where the is is located

so b = 7+3x

That a and b 3x question was worded weirdly… I put b then d then erased it and just moved on!

Hmm… I thought math was mid-hard… When I do practices from BB I usually get 7-12min spare to go over stuff.
Some of the answers I got for grid ins:
I got one that was 7, one for 21 (can’t remember the questions, though) and one for 210 (had a sum of angles a+b+c=330 and you were to find another sum)
.417 for one with some x/y ratio
40/3 for the question with the triangle with a commom side
The first question I put 5000; the one with 2p<x<3p, I got 42…

Some of the MC… I put a=b for the one with 3x+7… read that question over again some 5 times
the one with x, and the a+10 and a interval was B.
(just learned that in calculus - |x-center|<distance)
The one with the rope I put 4
the one with the x + x + 10 + … sequence I got 35…
The one with soda and ice cream I put 3.50
The one with the circle and the AB diameter line was 4sqrt(2)
The one with the tangent line and arc I put 4sqrt(3)
…

I put B, but then changed it to C.
-3 now

2 multiple choice wrong and 2 left blank now
