Math for March SAT 2009

I love how I spent around an hour taking the actual math part, and then come home and talk about it for six straight hours afterward. Rofl.

210 is correct.

They are posted online on April 7th.

oh and results come out April 7

Susan,

unless delayed you can expect them apr 7th.

I thought it was april 2nd?

Hey I know this is pretty illegal but what did people get for the grid-in with two triangles and a line. One triangle’s area/the other’s area = 3/4, etc, what is the distance from the line? I got some nasty fraction like 40/3. Anyone similar?

thank the lord…i think i actually may have done decently on this one! and i just checked college board, April 7th

I hope there are no delays in my score… When they did my admission ticket, they only put the first letter of my last name… I need to call them and get it changed.

The lady there said it wasn’t a big deal, just if I take the test again, there will be some discrepancies and it’ll consider me two different people. But it is all linked to the same CB account… I guess I will need to talk to my guidance counselor Monday or so.

Don’t worry. I did a proportion and got the same answer as the people who did base, height and whatever else. It’s all the same to a scantron.

Oh, thanks, guys…

Is that true? I thought we just couldn’t post actual questions…

We can’t post the whole question. Nor can we type out all the answer choices. (I got an infraction for it…)

To monoclide, was the answer you got 40/3? I’m freaking out because honestly this was the only problem that gave me troubles.

oh **** would what I did be considered a whole question?

I put 13.3, which is the decimal form of 40/3.

answer to previous question - the one with the isos. triangle that gave you two points, and then you had the find the coordinates of the other vertice was E…distance formula…remember the distance was 5

wow… so far… i missed none !!!
but i screwed up so much on CR… i practically gave up reading because I got so tired…

twins… lol

That citrus graph problem is frustrating me now… I remember I put 7250 and 8250, as I just quickly looked at the graph and assumed they were both halfway (I got 15%)

But if you believed that one was a little higher and one a little lower, you could have gotten 10%… double you tee eff CB?

Yeah I know! I haven’t missed any from the CR debate though either…at least from what I’ve read…

I hate to sound condescending, but I would consider myself a typical ā€œhonorsā€ student. And every time I take the test, I wonder how in God’s name do the regular kids even make it through? Some of the EASY questions stump me - let alone someone with not as much knowledge. It’s crazy!

It was 8200 and 7300 I think. The 8000ish one was definitely below the halfway point, and the 7000ish was definitely above.
