<p>Go here to see which placement tests you need to take by clicking on applicable college [New</a> Freshmen, Center for Teaching Excellence, University of Illinois](<a href=“http://cte.illinois.edu/testing/pnp/freshmen.html]New”>New Freshmen) Engineering requires math, chemistry and physics. The two science tests are ones you take for use to discuss with counselor as to which course you should start in. If you have AP credits, you will get them if you skip the classes for which you get credit. The placement test does not stop you from making that decision but if you do badly on placement test, counselor might advise that you not accept the AP credit and start in a freshman year class. Note, as long as you do some refreshment study for the tests, you should have no problem with them if you took AP classes.</p>
