The course you took at your cc - if on the articulation agreement as an equivalent of Math 125 - will fulfill your math requirement. I actually don’t know if you will have to take the placement exam as a transfer…I am thinking you might (not sure at all) and of course every freshman does, but the placement test does not get them waived from a math class, it is just making sure a student doesn’t need a more remedial math than 118 or 125. The AP scores and course history/grades is what gets you waived or into a higher level class, for example my S started in Calc III at USC, but that was not based on the placement test. You may still need to take the test, but your class will satisfy the requirement. Check the transfer thread below, there are helpful posters on it and a ton of great info.
