Although I can only speak for the graduating 6th-grade class of 1966, yes, you are correct, neither I, nor any classmates I had during my 8 years at that school (so far as I recall) displayed adult level skills/talents in music, math (or any other easily measurable/demonstrable area) that would have “qualified” any of us as “child prodigies.”</p>
<p>Do I find that fact to be significant, or, in fact, meaningful in any way? No.</p>
