<p>unless you’re in that specific program though, BS degrees in NYU CAS are only offered in Physics, Chemistry, and Neural Science. don’t ask me why you can’t get a BS in bio or biochem, it’s weird. in general, I don’t think it matters whether you get a BS or BA in Math; Courant is highly regarded and unless money is an issue, I think it would be a better place to study Math. it does ultimately come down to personal preferences, finances, location, and other issues. good luck with everything!</p>
