That is what happened with my S this year, too. I think if the internship is 10 hours, his schedule will be doable. 20 hours, not so much. He talked to his advisor and was given permission to register for 19 hours, but that doesn’t mean it’s a good idea! 
I’m glad I don’t have to pay extra tuition… I know that some schools have a limit, say 18 hours, and anything above that is an extra charge.</p>
