<p>i think the answer to the lanolin and IAA question controls were the uncut, cut with nothing, and cut with lanolin. This is because the experiment was to test the effect of certain substances on the tip region. Since the uncut one actually had a tip, and didnt have any substances, it would be a control. Then, the person manipulated variables, such as cutting the tip, and placing substances on the cut part. Therefore, I really believe the answers were I, II, III</p>
