You can never aim too high. If you want something, then go for it. However, as long as you have some acceptances, then you’ll be fine.

@intparent Yeah along with my lower SATII/AP, no out of school things other than research/presentations and my school fundraiser in India :confused: lots of clubs and such

@VaishS If you’re pre-med, I don’t think the prestige of the school you go to is particularly important so long as it isn’t ITT tech. If anything, you’ll prob end up with a higher GPA and have less competition for research/recommendations with your professors. If you wanna get into, say, I-banking, or you want to meet a bunch of geniuses and start the next Facebook, then you may be at a disadvantage, but otherwise the difference in most life outcomes of people from different schools goes away almost completely when you control for SAT and work ethic.
