We’ve always had a rule in our house that EVERYONE puts the seat and lid down. Well, middle kid is living at home after being away for awhile, and he seems to think he doesn’t have to do this anymore because he got out of the habit! Ack, it’s driving me nuts. I don’t think I’m asking too much. 
So then give him the weekly task of cleaning all toilets until he improves?

Me, too. When I have to get up in the middle of the night, I literally keep my eyes nearly closed so that I don’t fully wake up. (I know…weird).
