Is it realistically possible to have a certificate, minor and major in three different fields? I heard it is possible to get only certificates from Kellogg if you’re an undergrad, which is what I want to do. I plan on either majoring in engineering, but am also heavily interested in economics as well (which I am considering about minoring).
If so, can I just apply to McCormick?
Thanks @Crimsonstained7
hmm- is the greek system a big thing? To be honest, I didn’t associate NW with Greek life.
Could tell tell me if there are any all freshmen dorms on the south-side of campus? Also I’m a bit confused about residence hall versus Residential colleges. Can one live in a Residence Hall and join a Residential College? or is it just another dorm?
I don’t know the logistics of a minor in a different school, but it’d definitely be feasible. I’d enter in McCormick because of the engineer first program, and then just work with your advisor from there.
Greek system is a decent proportion of the school (40% or so), however it’s not “Fratty” like big greek schools. Quite a few of the fraternities are pretty chill, and generally not super uptight and such. Not sure about sororities.
There are no all freshman residences down on south campus. Most residences will be primarily freshman though, especially large dorms like Hinman, Willard, and Allison. Residence colleges are a dorm that also hosts events related to a topic. Most of the people in the residence college are going to live there, but there are also “Non-res” students who go to enough events that they can count as part of the group without being in the actual dorm.
can you comment on the MMSS program.
