If attending a US high school, the applicant is considered an American applicant, regardless of citizenship.
My daughter received an acceptance for engineering last week (us).

Congratulations to your son for getting into McGill. My daughter is applying this year. I just had a quick technical questions. Your son submitted application on October, right? How did he report 12th grade? Did he report grades as In Progress or else?
Hi. My son applied in October, but he didn’t submit his grades until November 30th, when he had his first trimester grades. I don’t think the self reporting portal opens until mid November, if I recall correctly. I think he reported them as in progress.
