<p>Weather would seem to be the biggest difference; they’re at the two extremes of the scale.
As far as the schools go, I would say they are not that similar (I am actually applying to both as well, though). One (McGill) is a massive public research university in Canada. One is a smallish liberal arts college in the United States.</p>

<p>Actually you might find this thread I started of help - it’s comparing McGill and Fordham, which is actually somewhat of a similar comparison.</p>
