<p>LFC8: False. While Tulane is quite expensive (~50K a year), it is not the most/one of the most expensive schools in the nation. There are plenty of schools that cost 55k, thus 50k is not uncommon for prestigious private schools in the states. I think the most expensive school is George Washington University… I could be wrong as I haven’t checked recently.</p>
<p>Additionally, Tulane gives A LOT of generous merit scholarships, especially to early applicants.</p>
<p>Of course, McGill is significantly cheaper (even taking into account Tulane’s scholarships), but for American applicants, airfare to Montreal can be expensive… </p>
<p>Bottom line: You’re saving money at McGill, but if you’re a strong applicant Tulane is going to give you a serious discount, making them much more comparable.</p>
