<p>It depends on the job market as well. I was there during the dot-com bubble. There used to be huge career fairs with tons of free stuff for anyone who wanted it. You graduated in CS, you got a job easily. Anyone with some programming skills could get hired. After the dot-com bubble, career fairs became rarer, much smaller events with no free stuff. Job placement has been a lot tougher across the board lately, and you need contacts. So make sure you talk to your profs and inquire.</p>
