my stats come from MY very close friends!!! i know them personally, we still talk!!!

I have to agree with Xanatos here… the SAT score is deceptively low, because recrutied athletes -on average- may/are admitted with lower board scores (although this is NOT always the case)… same with legacies, etc. Kids with 1500-1600 will get turned away inevitably. High board scores are practically a MUST to get into the top schoosl these days because most of the applicants are so outstanding in this fashion. Literally, with enough tries and money anyone can get a 1600.

ElCom, you need to do more… what you have listed at least will not be enough, unforunately. Don’t despair… work hard enough and you will have a good shot.

Elcommando: The two are the exact opposite. The last thing you need is more confidence, you need more humility. If you don’t get your act together, you’ll simply be making a 70 dollar donation to dartmouth next year.

Newby: Someone at Harvard with a 900? Please…You are just giving this kid false hope. They don’t just randomly admit underqualified applicants. If they do take someone with lower scores, they have a darn good reason.

Being honest, I do think that Dartmouth is a reach for you. If the decision is based on stats alone, then you don’t have a chance of getting in. However, luckily, colleges look at other things as well. Do you have more extra-curricular activities than what you have listed? The list you have posted is kind of weak, with the exception of the 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I think that that is very good. Overall, if you really want to go to Dartmouth, send in your application anyway, and tell the admissions officers how badly you want to go to the college. Highly selective colleges are always on the lookout for students who TRULY want to go to their institutions.

In addition, you have time to improve your stats, and your extra-curricular list. Also, you also have time to look at more colleges because in coming months, you may not even want to go to Dartmouth so badly. And if you still want to go to Dartmouth by the time you hit the 12th grade, apply there ED, and you may get in.

Hey u guys i just wanted to le you know my transcripts where messed up because they said i didnt take a 9th grade english course??? when in reality i took honors so im trying to get it worked out and ill repost sometime with a whole mess of new stuff thnx. =)

Please don’t feed the ■■■■■■.

If i dont they’ll eat me

You, ElCommando, are a ■■■■■ and you aren’t going to be able to convince me otherwise. The good people on this board don’t have much experience with them, but I can recognize one with 1 post. Go away, ■■■■■.

What do you mean by a ■■■■■? I just dont know about the college system ok? leave me alone

 You have a lot to learn before you become an effective ■■■■■.

i’m with Patrick on this one.

Second that.

Ok fine maybe im a ■■■■■ at least tell me what it is so i can agree with you all

first off i am not trying to get angry responses and secondly i am not lying to you why in G-ds name would i waste my time. im really interested in getting into a good college believe or not and just because i was acting stupid at the beginning doesnt mean i wasnt also serious. You all really need to get a life instead of accusing an “internet person” of lying i mean cmon.

Guys come on, he is clearly not a ■■■■■, give him a break. He is probably just really annoying.

You’re still a ■■■■■. ■■■■■■ don’t admit to ■■■■■■■■, it’s one of the rules. At least he has that going for him…

I think you are the ■■■■■ patrick trying to get a rise out of me…and yea right id rather be annoying???
