<p>I used to love wooden since they’re more comfortable in my hand, but my college didn’t have pencil sharpeners anywhere, so I had to switch to mechanical. I was so used to pushing hard with my wooden pencil that I was using 1.3mm lead for a while. I still prefer 0.9mm lead, though I can manage with 0.7mm when I’m in math or some other class with lots of sub/superscripts.</p>
