<p>mominin, congrats on your son’s scholarship! that’s great. i went through the appeal process for a higher scholarship (i was close to the presidential’s scholarship). i found out on friday that my appeal was denied. i think it’s for the better, though. i was sure that i wanted to go to Case, but i told myself that if the appeal didn’t go through then i wasn’t meant to go there. i also found out that i won a $3,000 OLAP scholarship, but it still makes Case over $10,000 more than my 2nd choice, Ohio State. i have a great scholarship to Ohio State (full tuition) and i really like the school. OSU has a good honors program. when i step back and looked at the whole picture, i realize that OSU is not only more financial realistic, but also the better fit out of the two. i think i’ll be happy at Ohio State, and that’s what matters. good luck to everyone going to Case. i’m sure you’ll love it there too.</p>
